About UsStudents who participate in school breakfast have improved attendance, behavior, and academic performance as well as decreased tardiness.* The Huddle Up for Breakfast resources allow teachers, food services, and administrators to work together to help educate students and parents on how breakfast can positively affect their bodies and brains.
Developed in partnership with the Dairy Council of Florida and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Huddle Up for Breakfast provides turnkey tools including student activities, ideas for school-wide contests, best practices for success, artwork for web banners and posters, along with kid-friendly recipes.
Eating breakfast regularly has been linked with greater intake of fiber, calcium, iron, vitamin C and other vitamins and minerals, and lower intake of fat, cholesterol and sodium.*
Be a school breakfast champion and encourage your school to Huddle Up for Breakfast!
